St Mark’s Bellringers Cheltenham

St Mark's Bellringers, Cheltenham

Church Bells are the biggest and loudest musical instruments. St Mark’s tower contains a ring of 8 bells, cast in 1885 and 2007 by John Taylor and Co. Loughborough. The bells are rung regularly by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated local volunteers. If you live nearby you have probably heard our bells being rung. We are the premier teaching tower in the area with experienced and accredited tutors who guide beginners from first lesson to first performance and beyond. If you would like to see us in action or try a free one to one taster session, contact us at stmarksbells@btinternet.com, come up the tower on a Monday evening during our open practice or call the church office on 01242 580022. If you are already a ringer or wish to view our ringing schedule please use the links. Visitors are always welcome. If you would like to come and meet the ringers, see the bells or perhaps even have a go yourself, please drop us an e-mail.
